Rescu.me Calls or Texts to Help You Escape Social Situations
by James Plafke | 1:46 pm, September 27th, 2010
If you’re in the middle of a really terrible date, but don’t have the heart (or cajones!) to employ truth and would rather be a little devious in order to escape the situation, Rescu.me will call or text your phone to help you pretend there’s an emergency unfolding to which you must attend.
The free service requires you to send a text to the provided number of (206) 866-5924 using the command structure of “<SMS/CALL> <time delay> [message]” where SMS or CALL designates whether or not you receive a text or phone call, time delay designates how long until the text or phone call is made, and the optional message you provide, which will then be included in the received text or phone call.
