Seeing Eye Dog Goes Blind, Gets Own Seeing Eye Dog

After six years of service, Graham Waspe’s seeing eye dog Edward developed cataracts and had both eyes removed, but instead of being a terribly depressing story, Waspe’s replacement seeing eye dog, Opal, ended up being a guide for both Waspe and Edward. Though the eight-year-old Edward has been without his sight for four months, he reportedly has not slowed down a bit, in part because of Opal’s help.
