Joerg Sprave Decides Sword Is Not Dangerous Enough, Weaponizes Handle

FACT: Any time Sprave sees anything, his first thought is "Yeah, that's nice, but it would be better with a slingshot on it."

Slingshot builder extraordinaire Joerg Sprave has proven that he can make a weapon out of just about anything. What happens when you give him something that is already a weapon, though? Well, Sprave being Sprave, he will naturally turn the non-weapon end of it into another weapon. The man just can’t help himself, folks!

With a freshly forged blade from Helm Forge in hand, Sprave quickly set about working to make a sword more dangerous, because making things more dangerous is what the guy does. Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, and Jorg Sprave’s gotta attach spikes and a slingshot to a short sword. This is the nature of the world we live in, and it is right and proper.

Ever the modern man-at-arms, Spraeve also offers some handy weaponry advice for the fashion forward sword-wielder, demonstrating that having a ring of spikes around the hilt of your sword isn’t just about looking cool — it can prevent an adversary from wrenching the weapon from your grasp. It is worth noting, though, that it also looks real cool.
