Two Bohemia Interactive Employees Arrested for Espionage

It shouldn't come as a surprise that wandering around a foreign island taking video and photographs of military installations can be seen as kind of suspicious in the eyes of that island's government. After all, any military is generally not going to be happy about such a situation. This is the unfortunate predicament that two Bohemia Interactive employees now find themselves in. The duo was arrested on Sunday on charges of espionage after conducting surveillance on the island of Lemnos for their company's newest video game: Arma 3.

20-year-old Michael Baker was photographed siphoning gas from a Jenkins Police Department car in Kentucky, as seen above, because that's what the cool kids do, I guess. For extra added cool, he flashed the finger in the picture, which he claimed his girlfriend took. Tweeting About Partying and Quoting Family Guy Gets U.K. Tourist Jailed, Deported

Leigh Van Bryan, a bar manager from Coventry, England, was planning on having a very good time during his trip to these United States last week. In a series of tweets, he announced his intention to party his ever-loving brain out while in the U.S.. Man Arrested After Caught Trying to Split Atoms in His Home as a Hobby

World’s Largest Online Pedophile Network Busted

In an investigation including various European authorities, including Europol, 184 people around the globe have been arrested--with over 670 suspects being identified--in connection with what is believed to be the world's largest online pedophilia network.

The investigation spanned over three years and focused on a Netherlands-based website, boylover.net, which supposedly had over 70,000 members at one point. Initially, the site was a discussion forum where its members could openly discuss their fantasies and sexual desires, but members began contacting each other through other private means, such as email, where they traded illegal images and videos. In January of last year, Europol seized a copy of the website's server, rebuilt the discussion forum offline, and pulled their info from said offline forum, which they then sent out to appropriate authorities in regions with suspects around the globe.

Authorities estimate that 230 children have been rescued by the appropriately-named "Operation Rescue," which is the largest number of children ever rescued as the result of this type of investigation. The countries involved includes the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Poland, and Romania. Europol expects m0re suspects and victims to be identified in the coming months.
