Zoolander Sequel Is Definitely Happening. Really!

No longer just being batted around as an awesome idea, Ben Stiller confirmed to Empire that the sequel to Zoolander is officially a go. He and Justin Theroux (who you may remember as the Evil DJ) have completed the script, which is now being handed off to the studio. We can now move on to the awesome cameo casting speculation. Let’s say it together, everyone — things that are actually happening are so hot right now.

Ben Stiller Goes Na’vi as Oscars Presenter [Video]



We knew there was going to be an Avatar moment at the Oscars sooner or later, and Ben Stiller gave it to us: Appearing in full Na’vi regalia, he clicked and hissed his love for James Cameron and presented the Oscar for Best Makeup — which Avatar wasn’t actually in the running for. (Star Trek ended up taking the Oscar.) Stiller also claimed to have two Star Trek ears signed by Leonard Nimoy, which we are hoping against hope is true.

Zoolander 2: It’s Coming

Only nine years after the original Zoolander made orange mocha frappuccinos, Mugatu, and centers for children who can’t read good household phrases in a select number of households, it sounds like the Zoolander sequel that Ben Stiller has been dropping hints about on and off for the past few years just may see the light of day.

Tentatively titled Zoolander 2, Ben Stiller and Justin Theroux — who wrote Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2, and will direct the new movie — are already onboard, reports Nikki Finke. Also — brace yourself — Jonah “that guy in SuperbadHill may be the villain.

The American Museum of Natural History has just unleashed a free app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows users to learn about dinosaurs and enrich their museum experience even without the guidance of funnyman Ben Stiller.

“Dinosaurs: The American Museum of Natural History Collections,” features a photomosaic of more than 800 pictures of dinosaurs, with additional information on some of the museum’s most popular exhibits.
