Bohemian Rhapsody: Star Wars Edition Is the Most Charming Parody Video You’ll See Today

This Star Wars parody of "Bohemian Rhapsody" certainly isn't the first or only one of its kind, but there's something about it that we can't resist -- and it's usually so very easy to resist silly parody songs. The acting is hammy, the effects aren't great, and the lyrics aren't perfect, but there's just something about it we love. The Force maybe?

“Bohemian Rhapsody” Drunk Shows Up to Trial Wearing Sunglasses, Viking Helmet

You might recall the drunk Canadian man from earlier this year that charmed the pants off the Internet with his shockingly accurate rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" from the back of a police cruiser. That man, Robert Wilkinson, recently made his court appearance to defend himself against the charges stemming from his little incident. He didn't do himself any favors. Wilkinson showed up wearing a horned Viking helmet, a NASA shirt with "I need my space" on display, and sunglasses. Needless to say, it didn't go well.

Watch As This Drunk Guy Sings All of “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the Back of a Cop Car [Video]

We've already seen Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody performed a number of times within the confines of motor vehicles. That is why we bring you this video of something that happened a year ago, on a dark Canadian night. On this special night, a young man was driving home while clearly under the influence and was pulled over by a police officer with whom he seemed to have a history. After extolling on the virtues of universal brotherhood and the importance of community, he begins to sing a heartfelt  cover of Queen's classic song. We've set the video to start playing a few minutes in to avoid the stream of NSFW language, but feel free to wind it back and watch.

If This VW is a Rockin’, It’s Because We’re Covering Bohemian Rhapsody Inside

I'm not really a Queen fan, but the Porkka Playboys have made me care about said band and their epic, operatic rock ballad Bohemian Rhapsody more than ever before. Not only because of the Playboys' deadpan earnestness, or their unique instrumentation (accordion case drumset and melodica, to name a few), but because the entire song is performed within the confines of a ca. 1980 VW Polo. Can't get enough covers of rock songs by a Finnish band in a strange locale? Don't worry, the Playboys also performed The Ace of Spades in a sauna (nothing obscene, but NSFW-ish). (via Neatorama)

Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” Rage Comic [Video]

The rage comic, turned into a video set to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" by reddit user friend168, is exactly what it sounds like: The entirety of "Bohemian Rhapsody" told with rage faces. The full image can be viewed here, but the comic set to the music video is a lot more fun since Freddy Mercury's vocals sound better in real life than they probably do in your head.

Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” on Slide Whistles

YouTube user Joe Penna, otherwise known as MysteryGuitarMan, has released what is quite possibly his best video yet, Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" performed with slide whistles. This video showcases why he is so popular on YouTube: I mean, there's a kazoo.

ASL Interpreter Rocks Out to “Bohemian Rhapsody” in Sign Language [Video]

ASL interpreter Sam Farley's sister secretly recorded him rocking out to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" in sign language while he was driving. He should keep his hands on the steering wheel! But also, it is an epic jam rivaling Wayne's World's. Check it out:
