And let’s be honest: That makes it awesome. What’s amazing to me is not only how many custom weapons are used, or how many custom minifigs are completely destroyed in showers of Play-Doh blood, but how fluidly the characters move. LEGO stop motion animation sure has come a long way.

This week’s Entertainment Weekly boasts a fair feast of images from the production of Captain America: The First Avenger, including a look at Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, some wonderfully art deco scientific instruments, and a shirtless Chris Evans.
We’re actually most interested by the middle one, we swear.

Exactly two weeks ago, Marvel comics announced that it would be cutting the price of “selected” titles debuting in January, but, unlike DC, Marvel’s price announcement didn’t mention specifically how many or which titles would be miraculously cheaper.
Eyebrows have risen regarding how closely Marvel’s price announcement followed DC’s. With only an hour between the two, many wondered whether Marvel had really planned on it, or if it was an emergency statement made so that they could say that they had it planned all along and totally weren’t scooped by DC, guys. Whether that is true or not is neither here nor there.
However, Marvel has now made public knowledge exactly which titles will go on sale for $3 instead of $4 this January, and, well. Turns out that “selected” means 3 out of 10.

When the Marvel/Disney merger was made official, a lot of people immediately plundered the wide ranging crossover potential, from Spider-Man in Kingdom Hearts to a Beast buddy movie.
Today we see the first shamelessly tied in fruit of that union, in the form of a series of variant covers for Marvel’s November titles, where ten of Marvel’s biggest characters get reinterpreted Tron-style.

The Daily Mail has a bunch of photos nabbed from the filming of a motorcycle chase scene in next summer’s Captain America: The First Avenger. Now, we know what you’re thinking, and don’t you worry your little True Believer head: that’s not Chris Evans, that’s a stunt guy. And that’s not the final costume, in fact it’s only one of the Cap costumes that will be featured in the movie.
