Pendleton Ward talks like you'd expect the creator of an anarchic frenetic, cartoon like Adventure Time with Finn and Jake to talk. His sentences often circle back on themselves, tinged with a West Coast laid-backness, which again seems quite commensurate with his job. But as cool and fun as his show is, it also has a big heart which was just as present when Ward spoke.

We all know the next iteration of the iPhone is just over the horizon, whatever the rumors may or may not say. With each iteration thus far, there hasn't been a good reason to avoid an upgrade (aside from the cost, of course), but Frank Prendergrast wants us all to consider saving our money when the next iPhone inevitably rolls out, and he made a handy list to convince us to sheath our wallets and save our money, which we can then spend on things more dear to our hearts. Have you ever laid awake at night, fervently wishing that Flavor Flav was somehow involved in a cartoon show about eco-responsibility? Some kind of adorable cross between Captain Planet and the Care Bears. Well, friends, wait no further. From the mind of David Feiss, creator of Cow and Chicken and I Am Weasel comes YooHoo and Friends! The premise is so simple it's a wonder no one has thought of it already. Five evil executives destroy the world for profit. Outraged, Mother Nature sends her (possibly hen-pecked) husband Father Time (Flavor Flav) to turn the executives into adorable, cuddly, endangered species. In order to return to their human bodies, they need to stop the very eco-disasters they caused and retrieve some kind of gem McGuffin. Wikipedia informs me that it's based off a Korean show of the same name, but more importantly that the American version will premiering in April 2011. I am counting the days, friends.
