We can't overstate just how much this is only a rumor, but it looks like Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale could be diving back into the DC Universe with the upcoming Justice League movie. They've both repeatedly and publicly said they are done with Batman and are moving on, but Latino Review is saying otherwise. Some parts of these rumors are more believable than others, so let's break down the finer details, shall we?

Are they taking nominations for the MacArthur Fellows Program? We only ask because the person who made this series of mashup photos combining the Christopher Nolan and Tim Burton Batman films is a genius of the highest order. Behance.net user Butcher Billy is the one behind this particular set of wonders, and we'd need Joker gas to smile more than we have at their work.

A select group of fans weren't exactly kind to the odd missteps present in The Dark Knight Rises when the move first released. The Aurora shooting tempered things, of course, but the reality is that Christopher Nolan made some particularly odd choices in the film. A number of complaints revolve around Bane's voice, but the rest of the movie isn't exactly without fault. Thankfully, CinemaSins has gone and counted all the things that were terribly wrong with the movie so we don't have to!

Most of us are waiting somewhat patiently for the release of The Dark Knight Rises on July 20th. But for those who can't manage to wait a little less than two weeks, Warner Bros has put out an intriguing 13 minute video with some discussion between the actors, actresses, and other folks behind the movie. Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, and Anne Hathaway all put in appearances to explain their characters and offer some insight. Excitement? Excitement!

It's been a long time since we had a new trailer for Christopher Nolan's latest Batman film The Dark Knight Rises, and this one doesn't disappoint. Not only do explosions abound, there's also a totally sweet skyjacking, some shocking destruction, and tantalizing hints about the actual plot of the movie. And it's just a hunch, but I have a feeling that "it's not a car," is going to be an oft-quoted line come this summer.

This is not a rumor.  It's in the freaking New York Times. The Dark Knight Rises will star, among others, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, an Tom Hardy as Bane. At least we now know, at long last, that Tom Hardy's beard has nothing to do with his role in TDKR.

Remember when we said an Inception video game could become reality? Well, an Inception video game became reality. Christopher Nolan, the director-within-a-writer-within-a-producer who is essentially responsible for all of the dream-within-a-dream memes flying around the Internet, told Insider Movies that a game set in the world of Inception is currently in development, [insert joke about which world-within-a-world of Inception here.]

Nolan didn't divulge any details, other than the game is "a longer-term proposition," but one can only imagine the player will be going deeper at some point.

The LA Times' Hero Complex will be running an interview with Christopher Nolan later this morning, but before it went up, they have teased some very, very exciting Batman 3 news from it. In a nutshell:

• The movie will be called The Dark Knight Rises.
• It will not be in 3D.
• The Riddler will not be the main villain.

Deadline is reporting that Tom Hardy has been cast in Christopher Nolan's new Batman movie, reuniting the pair since their work on Inception. Apparently, the strapping young man has been cast in a lead role, though whether or not the role is the movie's villain is still undisclosed.

Ever since Inception hit theaters in July and inspired a sea of memes, scads of convoluted theories, and countless "we need to go deeper" jokes, countless nerds have yearned for an Inception video game, even as the prospect of a bungled gaming cash-in has filled them with dread. Now, the film's director, Christopher Nolan, has said that an Inception game could be in the works.

Turns out the early speculation that Salt was likely to beat out Inception at the box office this past weekend was premature: Inception is still the #1 box office movie in America, with a box office of $43.5 million, bringing its U.S. total up to $143.6 million for its first ten days in theaters. Salt, for its part, didn't do too shabbily, taking the #2 spot with #36.5 million. Are box office horse races a little silly? Sure. But we at least understand the origins of this one:

Toronto-based graphic designer Ibraheem Youssef, who brought also brought us cinephiles the fan posters of Inglourious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, and The Life Aquatic, is now back with more simple, yet visually compelling prints of Inception, Scarface, and The Big Lebowski. We especially love how his imagery is always so symbolic and recognizable; take, for example, Donny and The Dude's sunglasses in the Coen Brothers' cult film.
