Teen Drinks Liquid Nitrogen Cocktail, Has Stomach Removed
The more you do just about anything, the bigger a tolerance you build up. Whether that's watching way too much television and eventually only being able to stand a higher quality of programming, playing too many JRPGs and not being able to deal with fate, destiny, and a very large amount of grind anymore, or drinking alcohol and requiring not only more of it to get drunk, but a new variety of it to keep from getting bored. English teen Gabby Scanlon succumbed to the latter, and drank a cocktail containing liquid nitrogen. She was, as one might've expected, rushed to the hospital afterward and had her stomach removed. Her entire stomach.

Speaking as Geekosystem's resident booze snob, I love a good cocktail. However, I have a really hard time keeping recipes straight which is why this enormous chart from Pop Chart Labs would really come in handy. On it, you can find just about everything you need to know in order to make 68 drinks, all coming from 40 kinds of booze, a collection of mixers and garnishes. Alien Brain Hemorrhage Cocktail
The above image does not depict a shot glass full of red Kool-Aid that was left in a very warm garage for a few months, but a drink intentionally made to look insane. Dubbed the "Alien Brain Hemorrhage," the cocktail consists of half a shot glass full of peach schnapps, with Bailey's Irish Cream poured on top. Once the shot is almost full, a small amount of blue curacao is added, and once that settles, a small splash of grenadine tops the drink off. Head on past the break to check out a video of the concoction.

Geekosystem Chats With Your Video Game Bartenders, The Drunken Moogle
Games and alcohol are two of humankind's oldest pastimes. When homo sapiens first emerged from the simian gene pool over 250 thousand years ago, we'd toss our spears around every so often, drunk on some derivative of fermented yeast. Today, the essentials remain the same. But there's more than the occasional game of wasted dodgeball; now we've found ourselves also in a digital age of gaming. And in such a video game age, 21 year-old college students Mitch Hutts and Travis Broyles of The Drunken Moogle have arrived to curate the world of alcohol. Their website, which regularly collects and invents alcoholic drink recipes based on video games, has been popularly received on Tumblr and beyond, recently serving such gems as the Starcraft II-themed "Zerg Rush" (six shots of Fernet Blanca, Hot n' Sweet, Baileys Irish Cream, and Tabasco sauce in succession, because who attacks with just one Zergling?) and "The Kirby" (cherry jello shot with Malibu, pink lemonade, Bacardi, and blackberry brandy). Geekosystem had the opportunity to chat with Mitch and Travis about the origin of their idea, drunk gaming, and their favorite concoctions.Read on...
