Awkward Handshake Disorder [Video]

For some, simply shaking hands in greeting can be an ordeal. Is he going for the fist-bump? The wrist-grip? The bro-grab? Guess wrong and the entire handshake is destroyed, along with your social life. But it’s ok, you don’t need to suffer alone anymore.

Two Brothers do Behind the Scenes Commentaries For Their Home Movies, Hilarity Ensues

Like most people in this modern age, John and Richard Ramsey have a plethora of home videos from their childhood. Unlike most of us, they found something useful to do with them: Adding a running commentary in the style of a DVD special feature. The Ramsey brothers are dead-on with their dead-pan analysis of what’s happening on screen, made all the more hilarious by their petty sniping with one another. See the video, after the break.

Pandora Branches Into Comedy Stations

Streaming Internet radio service and music recommendation Pandora has just gotten into the comedy business, having unveiled a bevy of new comedy stations today featuring the work of such comedians as Mitch Hedberg, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Louis C.K., and George Carlin.

As per Pandora’s usual M.O., users can either search for comedy by a given comedian and create a station containing bits by that and similar comedians, or they can subscribe to one of Pandora’s precreated comedy channels, such as “Today’s Comedy,” “80s and 90s Comedy,” “PG Comedy,” or “Urban Comedy.” This is all free, of course.

15 Funny Nintendo Product Mockups

The guys at Nintendo have always tried to push the boundaries of consumer technology, often by refining older concepts that didn’t quite work with the technology available at the time said concepts were first attempted: The Nintendo DS wasn’t Nintendo’s first foray into dual-screen gaming, nor was the Nintendo 3DS their first journey into 3D gaming.

Because of this, with the announcement of new Nintendo consoles and portables, the occasional comedian likes to diverge from the tried-and-true practice of making serious mockups, in order to create some funny ones, usually embellishing on one aspect of something Nintendo has employed in the past–from multiple screens, to 3D, to less complicated control schemes. In honor of the recent release of the Nintendo 3DS, we’ve compiled a list of fifteen of the funniest Nintendo mockups in recent memory.

Steven Wright on Craig Ferguson: Twitter, Llamas, David Caruso

Steven Wright is the kind of cult comedian whose cult is particularly strong among the geeky crowd: Like Norm Macdonald or Mitch Hedberg (RIP), Wright’s routine is all about logic, structure, and (extremely deadpan) delivery rather than gross-out jokes or ‘attitude.’

He was in fine form on last night’s Late Late Show with his friend Craig Ferguson, in whom he seemed to bring out the best: They riffed on Ferguson’s robot-winning Twitter obsession (Wright: “Do you have to know everyone that you’re twittering with?” Ferguson: “No. It’s like sex in the 1970s.”), llamas (Wright: “I used to know two llamas in the early ’70s. They’re very arrogant. They think they’re cool because they don’t talk”), and internet favorite David Caruso.

It’s telling that when Wright simply said of Caruso, “he’s a good actor,” he got a big round of shocked laughter. They should send Wright to (puts sunglasses on) the funny farm.
