Conan O’Brien Tour

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert Crash Conan O’Brien’s Show, Get Shot by Andy Richter

As many know, Conan O’Brien is finishing up his Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour before his fall stint on TBS starts up.  Last night, he swung through his hometown, New York City, to play a night on the NBC campus, presumably just to tell them they can suck it one last time.

Well, New York happens to be the home of a couple of other pretty funny guys, and they put in a “shockingly under-rehearsed” appearance. Blurry video below (it fares better in 480p and full screen).

Conan Is Back Onstage, and He Will Survive [Video]

Conan O’Brien is doing pretty damn well for himself. With news already out that he’ll be heading back to television on TBS this fall, Coco kicked off his 32-city live Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television tour last night in Eugene, Oregon. Showing off a Writer’s Strike-era beard and the same wacked sense of humor that brought him to TV, reviewers were happy to see him in good form, even if this first show was uneven at times.

Attention, Comedy Nerds: Conan O’Brien Is Going On “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On TV Tour”

The rumors were trueConan O’Brien is going on tour, beginning April 12 in Eugene, Oregon.

The news was announced via his Twitter feed this morning, a website has been set up (TeamCoco.com, of course) and more details about what to expect have been revealed.

The web site is referring to the tour as “The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On TV Tour” and promises “a night of music, comedy, hugging and the occasional awkward silence.”

The tour will stop in 30 cities including Universal City, CA (close to his old studio) on April 24 and Radio City Music Hall June 1 (across the street from his older studio). He’ll also make a stop at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. The tour is sponsored by American Express, and tickets are available at TicketMaster.com.
