Darth Poohder Is What You Get When Winnie the Pooh Voice Actor Jim Cummings Reads Darth Vader’s Lines

Winnie the Pooh voice actor Jim Cummings thought it would be a good idea to read Star Wars scenes with Pooh's voice instead of Darth Vader's, and boy was he right. The footage isn't new, but it's been making the rounds recently, and it's delightful, so go ahead and give it a watch. There's some Darkwing Duck in there, too.

Darth Vader Is Running For President of Ukraine

Feel a disturbance in the Force? Darth Vader is campaigning to lead Ukraine, and when I say Darth Vader I do not mean Putin and when I say "campaigning" I do not mean violating international law. I'm not qualified to parody the Ukrainian crisis, but at least one Sith Lord has a sense of humor about it--and a lot of stormtroopers to back him up.

The Inevitable Darth Vader/Breaking Bad Mashup Has Arrived and It Is Glorious

Sure, as Heisenberg, Walter White strikes fear into the hearts of drug dealers everywhere. But take away the black headgear and he's really just a sad old white dude with a bald head and a lung problem. Wait a second... does that sound familiar to you? Because I'm getting Return of the Jedi flashbacks right now.

Watch This Awesome Short Film About Evil Action Figures Getting Their Comeuppance

Vimeo user Paul Constantakis has released a new short film, Villainous, and it's a must-see. More a suggestive glimpse into the secret lives of our crime-fighting heroes -- and their dastardly foes -- than a narrative story, the two-and-a-half-minutes nonetheless hints just enough at the epic battle that we have missed to whet our appetite for more.

Dubbler App Wants to Be Audio Equivalent of Vine

There's no shortage of apps that let you easily share pictures, and apps like Vine make sharing short video clips just as easy. What about voice? That's where Matthew Murphy and his company Appsurdity saw a hole in the market. He created Dubbler, an app that lets you share short audio clips through social media. I wasn't sure who would want to do that, so I asked him during a brief phone interview.

Now That Disney Owns Star Wars, This is What They Did With Darth Vader

For those of you worried about Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm, they didn't ruin comics when they bought Marvel, right? They certainly didn't ruin sports by owning ESPN either, so if you're worried that they'll turn Star Wars into some kind of Kingdom Hearts-style mashup where Mickey can't stop feeling disturbances in the Force, I'd recommend a wait-and-see approach first. On the other hand, all of those animatronic kids in It's a Small World getting Force-choked until they can't sing anymore would be just fine. However you feel about the purchase, this is how Disney celebrated, playing on the old stereotype of where athletes say they're going to go after they win some kind of bowl or finals or world-spanning series. At any rate, don't forget: Many people would say Disney is a more terrifying cult than the Sith anyway.

This is Darth Vader in a Kilt, Playing the Bagpipes, While Riding a Unicycle Through Portland [Video]

This is Brian Kidd, also known as The Unipiper, and he's apparently a big fan of doing two very hard things at the same time. Like, for instance, playing the bagpipes while driving a unicycle. In this video, however, Kidd has gone the extra mile and outfitted himself with a Darth Vader mask while performing selections from the Star Wars score. Presumably, the kilt is included out of respect for tradition.

Fast Food Chain Introduces Black Bun Darth Vader Burger

As a promotion for the release of The Phantom Menace in 3D, French-based fast food chain "Quick" is introducing the menacing looking Darth Vader burger, or Sith burger, if you will. It's also introducing a Jedi burger but that one is just boring. According to this Google Translated source, the Sith burger bun is black due to a dye and not due to the blackness of its soul, different ingredients or concentration of tasty, tasty evil. Curious they called it the Darth Vader burger though. Shouldn't it be the Darth Maul burger or the Anakin Skywalker burger? Looks like I'm not the only one that prefers the original trilogy.

Two Hacked Floppy Disk Drives Playing Star Wars’ Imperial March [Video]

Remember floppy disk drives? Those things that read disks that each contained 1.44 megabytes of your adolescent poetry and multiple computer games? You know, that thing you paid nine dollars for the last time you built a computer because, hey, it was only nine dollars? Well, better than sitting in your custom gaming rig and doing nothing, these two floppy disk drives are hacked to make music -- specifically, the iconic Imperial March from Star Wars.

The noises used to generate the music is made by a magnetic head moved by a stepper motor. One can make specific sounds when the head is moved at an appropriate corresponding frequency.
