Shakespeare Quotes, Music, and More Hidden in BioShock Infinite Audio

Act 3, Scene 2 of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet has a soliloquy by Juliet as she waits for night to fall so she can see Romeo. It's right before she finds out Romeo has been banished. The bit is rather beautiful, but if you want to hear a creepy, terrifying version of it, just go play BioShock Infinite. It's hidden in the game along with some other audio surprises.

Oh, You Hid Some Easter Eggs? Did You Hide Them in Space? Chris Hadfield Sure Did

It's Easter Sunday here on Earth, but International Space Station Commander Chris Hadfield wanted to bring the celebration to his crew, so he hid some Easter eggs on the ISS. I don't know why we even bother doing stuff that's not in space anymore.

Doing Some Last Minute Egg Decorating? Why Not Make Angry Bird Eggs?

It's already late Easter morning here on the east coast, but if you've been putting off decorating eggs and find yourself in need of some inspiration, why not give this a try: Kitchen Overlord's Chris-Rachael Oseland has instructions on how your eggs can look like the Angry Birds. She's also got an Angry Birds cocktail garnish for helping get through awkward family dinner.

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For… A Hitman Absolution Easter Egg! [Video]

The Hitman series is known first and foremost for giving players the freedom to kill their targets in a variety of ways, ranging from the conventional to the needlessly complex. In Hitman Absolution, those methods can be down-right weird sometimes. If someone can explain why this easter egg involving vultures and an ice cream truck makes any sense, I'd be surprised. Luckily, things don't need to make sense to be funny. Before you watch, you should know that this video contains some mild spoilers for a mission late in the game. If you're playing Hitman Absolution and haven't started a mission called "End of the Road," you might want to avoid watching this. The easter egg is hidden at the very beginning of the mission, so you should be fineĀ as long as you've gotten that far.

Go Google “Conway’s Game Of Life” Right Now

You know Conway's Game of Life. No, it's not the one with the blue and pink pegs, and the little cars, and the harrowing life-choices made without a second thought upon the drawing of an arbitrary card. Conway's Game of Life, also known as just "Life", is the one with the clumps of blocks that keep morphing their size and shape, and sometimes even change color. Why don't you just give it a Google and watch it slowly but surely take over your screen?

The perfect way to waste time on a lazy Friday.

You Should Go Tell Google To Do A Barrel Roll

I think someone at Google has been playing Star Fox recently, or just likes taking orders, or maybe both. In any event, you should totally go to Google right now and tell it to "do a barrel roll," by which I mean, enter that as your search query. I won't tell you exactly what happens, but you can probably make a pretty good guess. "Z or R twice," also works. Unfortunately "try a u-turn," "try a somersault," and "use the boost to get through" all seem to have no effect. Maybe one day.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Trailer Music Played Backwards is Awesome Easter Egg [Video]

At this year's Game Developers Conference, Nintendo showed off a trailer for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. YouTube user FPawesome1 found an amazing little easter egg hidden in the trailer: If played backwards, the music may just drown you in a fangasm of nostalgia. I'll wait while you listen to the trailer, then the audio extract.

All done? How awesome was that? For those scratching their heads, first off, for shame. Secondly, that was Zelda's Lullaby from Ocarina of Time, one of the most iconic pieces of music in video game history. Thirdly, for shame.
