Square Enix Confirms Final Fantasy VII to Come to PC (Again)
If you don't already own it, or have only watched your friends play it because you opted to get a Nintendo 64 so you could play Zelda, and also didn't snatch up the digital versions available on the PS3 and PSP, the beloved Final Fantasy VII is headed for a PC re-release sometime soon. Square Enix hasn't given an exact date, but they have divulged where you can snag the re-release, and what extra features it'll boast.

Rumor: Final Fantasy VII Returning to PC Soon
A Google cache of what appears to be a development site for Final Fantasy VII PC has the collective nostalgia of the internet in a frenzy. This wouldn't be the first time that Google accidentally revealed an upcoming announcement before the developer was ready for it to be out in the wild. If the cache is to be believed, the newly updated PC version from Square Enix would cost around $12.50 and include a variety of enhancements. Check the jump for details.

Impressive Stop-Motion Final Fantasy VII Animation [Video]
The impressive animation took around ten thousand pictures and two months of work, and though action figure Sephiroth's hair isn't as silvery as it could be, Aeris (we speak English here) still dies and Cloud's sword is still too big for anyone to wield. The video didn't continue selling Aeris' equipment in stores after her death though. Still, impressive work.

Real-Life Buster Sword
Ridiculously-sized weapons are pretty much synonymous with Japanese video game heroes nowadays, and the above video posted on YouTube by user michaelcthulhu takes one of the most iconic ridiculously-sized swords, Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII, and shows us what would happen if a hero actually had to use said sword in real life.
