Right Wing Radio Duck: Donald Duck Meets Glenn Beck

This well-done clip and audio mashup shows that even cartoon characters aren’t immune to the allure of right-wing radio hosts when they’re down on their luck. Jonathan McIntosh, who created it, explains:

This is a re-imagined Donald Duck cartoon remix constructed using dozens of classic Walt Disney cartoons from the 1930s to 1960s. Donald’s life is turned upside-down by the current economic crisis and he finds himself unemployed and falling behind on his house payments. As his frustration turns into despair Donald discovers a seemingly sympathetic voice coming from his radio named Glenn Beck.

Despite the fact that this seems like a pretty bulletproof example of fair use in action, that’s no guarantee that it won’t receive a YouTube DMCA takedown notice or two, so watch it while you can.

While the specifics of the announcements are still unclear, it appears that there may in fact be some sort of event in the works, though one can only imagine how that would work or what it would look like. But we can imagine…

Great New Video on MuppetStudios’ YouTube, Just in Time for Memorial Day

Muppet Studios have released their latest in patriotic videos, featuring their resident patriot Sam Eagle.  We’re going to try not to give away the funny, but suffice to say that he decides to perform a song without really looking at the lyrics first.

Kind of reminds us of when Glenn Beck realized that Born in the U.S.A isn’t all about fireworks and apple pie.

Did Facebook Muzzle a Poodle’s Campaign to Get More Fans than Glenn Beck?

Onion rings uniting against Justin Bieber or pickled Nickelback opponents are allowed to roam free on Facebook, but a poodle in a tinfoil hat campaigning to acquire more fans than Glenn Beck crosses a line of decency.

This the latest verdict from the social networking company, who slapped the fan page “Can This Poodle Wearing a Tinfoil Hat Get More Fans than Glenn Beck?” with a “publish block” that prevents them from recruiting new members or advertising the page on Facebook:
