Videos become viral so quickly that it's it's pretty jarring to remember that yeah, we were all obsessed with that stupid Harlem Shake. Youtube's Top Ten of 2013, then, makes for some pretty surreal viewing.

    These Children Are Not Impressed With Your Harlem Shake Video

    The Harlem Shake was fun while it's lasted, but it's over, so kindly move on to the next thing we can all think is great for a week and then get sick of. If there's any question of the extent to which the world has had it with the Harlem Shake, here is a video of children reacting disapprovingly to various Harlem Shake videos. Alright, actually 13-year-old Everhet seems pretty into the whole thing, so maybe there's some hope for the trend after all.

    15 Australian Miners Fired Over Harlem Shake [Video]

    As many as 15 employees at Western Australia's Agnew Gold Mine have lost their jobs after producing a video showing the world exactly what the Harlem Shake looks like underground -- pretty much exactly like it does everywhere else, but with way worse lighting. Our hearts go out to the workers, because losing a job is always pretty terrible. On the plus side, though, maybe now they can get new jobs that are not in mines, as working in a mine is also pretty terrible? Check out the video below and let us know if you think dancing topless in a gold mine should be a fireable offense.

    The Harlem Shake is probably my favorite thing to come out of 2013. I'm calling it now. It might only be March, but the rest of the year might as well phone it in. Some folks might already be tired of the Internet meme -- and they certainly have every reason -- but it's showing no real signs of stopping. It's slowly seeping to every corner of the Internet, though. Even YouTube has finally given in.

    The 7 Best Harlem Shake Videos the Internet’s Produced So Far

    The Harlem Shake phenomenon is still ongoing. We're only about a week into this thing, and there have already been a number of hilarious takes on the concept. The general idea is to take the first thirty seconds of "Harlem Shake" by Baauer, have one person dancing oddly while everyone else is acting normal, and then cut to the whole room exploding into motion at the first mention of "do the Harlem shake" ends.
