Cunningly sensing the public’s insatiable demand for an answer to the question, “what if the Hello Kitty crew made an execrable Star Wars pastiche,” Sanrio created “CatWars,” which “MissMeowVille”‘s YouTube description bills as “Hello Kitty starring in Star Wars, a 1980s animated Star Wars spoof which appeared on Hello Kitty’s Furry Tale Theater.”

Finally: the terrifying steampunk future portrayed in Hello Kitty Online makes sense. While the Hello Kitty Chainsaw is puzzlingly unavailable on Sanrio’s website, and may in fact be entirely made up by the Internet, we are kind of digging the sparkly bronze-studded chain and the cursive “I love you” on the blade. Aww.
