    The London 2012 Olympics coverage can be a pain to keep track of on one's own. That's not even considering the time delay if you can't manage to find a way to view the events live.     Divisive Olympics Fencing Match Recreated in LEGO Form

    A timing error during the fencing semifinal at the London 2012 Olympics ended up causing Germany's Britta Heidemann to squeak out a victory over South Korea's Shin A Lam. The South Koreans appealed the process, but weird Olympics procedures required Shin to remain on the piste -- the playing area -- for over an hour whilst the appeal was deliberated. Now, this heartbreaking story has been told using LEGOs.

    Twitter Actually Told NBC About Banned Journalist’s Tweet [UPDATED]

    We reported yesterday that Guy Adams, the Los Angeles bureau chief for The Independent, had his Twitter account suspended after he directed those displeased with NBC's London 2012 Olympics coverage to a corporate email address for Gary Zenkel. Twitter responded to Adams' queries saying that he had violated their privacy policies and NBC had complained. NBC Sport's Vice President of Communications, Christopher McCloskey, has now told The Telegraph that NBC's social media department was actually alerted by Twitter.

    Chances are that, if you're reading this, you're already aware that NBC has been broadcasting their London 2012 Olympics coverage on a delay. In an age where we can almost instantly know everything happening everywhere, one of the greatest collaborations between nations is essentially being held hostage in order to boost ad revenue.     Because there is nearly a LEGO set for every situation, there will now be a set of minifigures devoted to the Great Britain Olympic team. The set of nine will be available starting in July -- only in the United Kingdom. So if, like Pokémon, you've got to catch 'em all, it looks like you will have to pay international shipping if you don't live in an area where they're available. If not, it'll just be nine pieces missing from your otherwise perfect set. If you can stand it.
