Hugo “Hurley” Reyes has always been one of the most beloved characters on LOST for a few different reasons.  Sure, he brings the comic relief and is the kind of guy every fan wants as a best friend, but he also has a connection to the island that provides the background for some of the show’s greatest mysteries (the numbers and the ability to see the dead, just to name a few).  So it’s no surprise that last night’s Hurley-centered episode had funny moments, was extremely heartwarming, and offered glimpses into how LOST will wrap up.

Some of LOST’s best episodes ever are based around everyone’s favorite Scotsman, Desmond David Hume.  Past popular episodes include Season 3’s “Flashes Before Your Eyes” and Season 4’s “The Constant,” both of which explore Desmond’s special abilities.  Well, add last night’s episode to the list of great Desmond-centered episodes. “Happily Ever After” is the 11th episode of LOST’s final season and after an extended hiatus, Desmond made his long-awaited return to the island.

LOST Recap, Season 6, Episode 7: “Dr. Linus”

What follows is a recap of LOST Season 6, Episode 7: “Dr. Linus.” Lots of spoilers ensue.

Rumor has it that the creators of LOST have purposefully split the last season into three distinct acts, with each act comprising of six episodes.   If this rumor is true, tonight’s episode, “Dr. Linus,” would mark the beginning of the second act.  It surely felt like a new beginning, moving away from the Temple and back into the jungle and out to the beach camp.  Also we had the first glimpse into the off-island life of someone who was not on Oceanic 815, the infamous Benjamin Linus.  Let’s start with his life:
