Little Lucas here is a Star Wars fan. At least he will be if his parents have anything to say about it. When they noticed that Lucas seemed to enjoy playing  in a cardboard box, his parents did the natural thing and used cardboard boxes to build him his very own Millennium Falcon. I hope that kid doesn't prefer Star Trek. That might not go over well.

The owners of a Fayetteville, Arkansas grilled cheese eatery have outfitted this van to deliver grilled cheese sandwiches, soups, and salads to hungry Arkansans in their most desperate hour. We approve. (Though we hope George Lucas doesn't sue.) (via Super Punch)

French artist Hubert de Lartigue has devised an ingenious way to recycle his subway tickets: make them into X-Wing fighters. Not only has he kindly shared pictures with the internet, he has also posted tutorials of how to turn Parisian metro tickets into X-Wings and Millenium Falcons (the latter complete with a stand) on his website, hubertdelartigue.com. We wish we could try it out with our metro cards, but we're from New York, and our cards are made from cold, unfeeling plastic.
