This “Welcome Home 619″ Real Estate Rap is Awkward Gold [Video]

If you live in San Diego, are thinking about moving, or just love awkward raps, then you should definitely watch this video by real estate agent Rafael A. Perez. He'd like to sell you some property, and he seems willing to go to extreme lengths to do so. We'd hate to see this kind of effort go unrewarded. Perez laid down some fat beats and slick rhymes to tell you all about how he reps the 619.

Scissors Beats Paper, Paper Beats Rock, This Rap Video Beats Everything

Before rap battles, there were Rock-Paper-Scissors battles, and up until now those two worlds were woefully separate. That was before YouTube user Andrew Huang counted to three and threw down this rap song about Rock-Paper-Scissors. Besides his tight lyrics, Andrew also drops some sick nasty beats, and they were all produced from the sounds of rocks, paper, and scissors. Rapper Krispy Kreme Has 400 Cars, 400 Scars, and 400 Guitars [Video]

Not that we needed reminding, but Woot's response to their recently-announced acquisition by Amazon for a reported $110 million has reminded us why we love them so. While nine-figure sums and corporate megaparents might otherwise be enough to give Woot's fiercely loyal, fiercely geeky clientele the jitters, Woot has responded in a fiercely geeky way of its own. In addition to reassuring customers that Woot will remain "an independently operated company full of horrible, useless products and an untalented jerkface writing staff, same as it ever was," they've promptly released an old-skool hip-hop track, performed by a plush monkey named MC Mortimer.

Do we have said Woot rap below? It's funny you should ask:

Hip-Hop Battle of the Century: Keynes vs. Hayek

A brief perusal of Wikipedia shows that John Maynard Keynes and F. A. Hayek never fought each other on Celebrity Deathmatch. If this is something over which you might mourn, the you'll be interested to know that Econstories.tv has a really nicely produced video depicting a rap battle between the two titans of economics.

At first we were worried that we didn't understand enough about economics to post this video. Then we remembered that nobody understands enough about economics, and we felt a little better.
