Luke and Vader Get Some Father/Son Bonding Time In This LEGO Star Wars Video

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there. To celebrate, LEGO has released this charming video showing Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader getting in a little father/son time. It's as adorable as you'd expect from LEGO, and a nice way to celebrate the day with your geeky dad. Full disclosure: This might just be because it's my first Father's Day as a new dad, but I teared up a little bit.

Why Isn’t This Steampunk AT-AT Liquor Cabinet Already in My Posession?

Oh my God. Would you look at this thing? This gorgeous piece of art that amazing woodworker Colin Johnson has produced. It's a steampunk-inspired liquor cabinet made to resemble the walking AT-ATs from The Empire Strike Back. It probably doesn't do any actual walking since it's mostly made from mahogany and brass trim, but that's for the best, really. God forbid your alcohol start to walk away from you while you're trying to get at it. That's a recipe for disaster.

Yub Nub! LEGO Releasing Beautiful Ewok Village Set That We Desperately Need in Our Office

They've been accused of being the Jar-Jar Binks of their day, but I love the Ewoks. That's why I'm so excited to hear about LEGO's new offering -- The Ewok Village. It's a beautifully detailed 1,990 brick model complete with traps, hideouts, and even an elevating throne. The set even comes with 16 minifigs so you can relive all your favorite Endor scenes. I want this real bad. Real. Bad.

J.J. Abrams is Bound to Confuse Star Trek and Star Wars [Video]

One of the issues that people have with J.J. Abrams on both Star Wars and Star Trek is the idea that he's going to end up confusing the two somehow. What, exactly, does that mean? It's hard to say, but Official Comedy's taken a stab at what they think must be going on with J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Wars.

Disney Registers New Star Wars URLs, You’re Getting More Gungans

Disney registered a number of new URLs associated with it's shiniest new toy, the Star Wars Franchise, and while most of them are merely yawn-inducing three of them are registered for something called "Gungan Frontiers" should chill you to your very soul. It appears that the race that spawned the most hated character in all of Star Wars -- nay, perhaps in all of fiction -- is getting a new lease on life. We don't know what that is yet, but I am totally prepared to hate everything about it.

Quirk Books Staged a Preview of William Shakespeare’s Star Wars On The Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Steps

Did everyone have a lovely Star Wars Day yesterday? Our friends at Quirk Books celebrated May the Fourth with a flash mob preview of their upcoming release William Shakespeare's Star Wars, which as you can probably guess, is a version of Star Wars written in the style of William Shakespeare. The audio in the video isn't great, but they've subtitled it to get the full emotion of Obi-Wan's final battle with Darth Vader across.

It’s May 4th, Brace Yourself for an Obnoxious Amount of “May the Fourth Be With You”

I'm as big a fan of Star Wars as the next geek, though not as much as Glen, so the idea of celebrating the franchise on a specific day sounds great. I'm not opposed to having special days for stuff like that, and I'd probably also get behind a Biker Mice From Mars Day, but that's just me. That said, perhaps we've all gone a little overboard with this whole "May the fourth be with you" thing. Yeah, it's that time of year again.

Turns Out Yoda’s Dagobah Mud Hut is Dirt Cheap

Oh, sure. Yoda was living large in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in the Star Wars prequels, but that guy hit hard times after the fall of the Jedi. Hiding out on Dagobah had its advantages -- like not getting murdered -- but the accommodations were a little sparse. What could a potential buyer expect to pay for Yoda's hut? The real estate geeks at Movoto have the answer, and an explanation.

Watch All of Star Wars Episode IV in This One-Minute Animation

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope is one of my favorite movies, because it's one of the best ones. At 125 minutes long I don't always have time to sit down an watch it all. Thankfully, it's the latest installment of 1A4STUDIO's Speedrun webseries. This animation compresses the entire film down to a simple minute-long animation.

Entertainment Weekly Made The Poster For Patton Oswalt’s Star Wars Episode VII

Okay, folks, we officially need something to brighten our day, and we suspect you're right there with us. So big thanks to Entertainment Weekly's Jef Castro for bringing us this poster of Patton Oswalt's idea of what Star Wars Episode VII would look like. From Moon Knight to Spider Robot Chewbacca, Oswalt's amazing eight minute diatribe outlining a pop-culture orgy for the ages from Parks and Rec is represented nearly in its entirety on this incredible poster, which is frankly just what we could use right now. Keep reading to get a load of the whole shebang.

Watch Harrison Ford Dodge Star Wars Questions and Confront Chewbacca on Kimmel

It has to be hard when you're an actor trying to promote something, but all anyone wants to talk about is another project. When Harrison Ford appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, he took questions from the audience, but refused to talk about Star Wars Episode VII. He went on to answer a few questions before being confronted by an old friend.

Patton Oswalt’s Star Wars Filibuster is the Best Thing You’ll See Today

If you weren't already a fan of Patton Oswalt, this should likely bring you into the fold: Oswalt performed an improvised eight-minute rant/filibuster for an episode of Parks and Recreation. What was said rant/filibuster about? His idea for Star Wars Episode VII, with a few surprising twists mixed in.

We Want to Say One Word to You: Lightsabers, Star Wars Meets The Graduate

I never really thought about it before, but Luke Skywalker and Benjamin Braddock have a lot in common. They're both young men trying to find their purpose in life. They both get involved in a socially unacceptable relationship, and I think they both go on to become Jedi Masters. (It's been a while since I've seen The Graduate, but I think that's how it ends.) There's no better way to show the similarity between these two great cinematic icons than by cutting footage from Star Wars with the audio from the trailer for The Graduate, and that's exactly what One Minute Galactica did.

Luke is a General, Han Solo Is a Lizard in Dark Horse’s New Adaptation of The Star Wars

Wouldn't it be weird if Han Solo was a six-foot lizard guy, not human at all? Or if Luke wasn't a whiny moisture farmer but a bearded general from the get-go? Well, that's how things were before 1977's Star Wars in the original screenplay written by George Lucas -- and how they'll be again in Dark Horse Comics's upcoming adaptation of The Star Wars.
