    Tom Hardy to Star in Splinter Cell Movie, Probably Will Be More Intelligible Than Bane

    Ubisoft, the video game developer and publisher, is pushing traditional media in a hard way. Not only do they have an Assassin's Creed film in the mix, but they're working on bringing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell to the big screen as well. Barring our typical distaste with video games being made into movies, both franchises could prove excellent fodder for the stereotypical action film. Now that the Splinter Cell movie has Tom Hardy cast as protagonist Sam Fisher, it'll be even tougher to ignore.

    Most of us are waiting somewhat patiently for the release of The Dark Knight Rises on July 20th. But for those who can't manage to wait a little less than two weeks, Warner Bros has put out an intriguing 13 minute video with some discussion between the actors, actresses, and other folks behind the movie. Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, and Anne Hathaway all put in appearances to explain their characters and offer some insight. Excitement? Excitement!

    Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy are Catwoman and Bane

    This is not a rumor.  It's in the freaking New York Times. The Dark Knight Rises will star, among others, Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, an Tom Hardy as Bane. At least we now know, at long last, that Tom Hardy's beard has nothing to do with his role in TDKR.

    Tom Hardy Cast in Next Christopher Nolan Batman Movie

    Deadline is reporting that Tom Hardy has been cast in Christopher Nolan's new Batman movie, reuniting the pair since their work on Inception. Apparently, the strapping young man has been cast in a lead role, though whether or not the role is the movie's villain is still undisclosed.
