We can't overstate just how much this is only a rumor, but it looks like Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale could be diving back into the DC Universe with the upcoming Justice League movie. They've both repeatedly and publicly said they are done with Batman and are moving on, but Latino Review is saying otherwise. Some parts of these rumors are more believable than others, so let's break down the finer details, shall we?

The last time anybody got truly excited for a film featuring DC Comics' omnipotent powerhouse being released was back in 1979 for Superman: The Movie. Otherwise, the red "S" has since become synonymous with the image of a dead Comet the Super-Horse being beaten to a pulp by Warner Brothers film executives. This disdain for all things Superman extended somewhat to even the release of the first teaser trailer for director Zack Snyder's re-imagining of the hero, since it didn't give us much to work with. If the latest trailer for Man of Steel is anything to go by, it looks like our popcorn buckets might remain in our laps and not be hurled at the screen this coming summer.

Style over substance he may be, but Zack Snyder undeniably creates knock-out visuals. His trailers for 300 and Watchmen were two of the most hype-generating previews in recent cinematic history (the lackluster exception being his upcoming CG movie Legend of the Guardians). Now, it looks like he's turned the volume higher (all the way to eleven!), with this tease of nearly every geeky trope possible: girls with guns and swords, seedy mafia goons, giant samurais brandishing Gatling guns, steampunk zeppelins, fire-breathing dragons, spaceships, futuristic cities, and enormous robots. But there might've been some things that slipped your notice in the trailer:

With only three days to go before the opening of Christopher Nolan's mindbender Inception -- its hype having escalated to unbearable, volcanic levels -- I can only feel ... disgruntled at the deluge of previews Warner Bros. still smashes into my eyeballs at every turn, whether on the computer at my office, or on a TV screen at home, or on a giant building as I attempt an innocuous stroll down the street. One of the more recent trailers, though admittedly awesome, pretty much introduced every major character.
