Texas Twister Tosses Trailers, Arlington Declared Disaster Area [Video]

A savage tornado tore up Texas’s Dallas-Fort Worth Tuesday afternoon, slinging trailers left and right as shown in the footage above. Despite widespread damage, resulting in a declaration of Arlington Texas as a disaster area by Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck, no serious injuries have yet to be reported. Tornadoes, in general, are remarkable for their ability to wreak devestating damage while still managing to have an incredibly short life-span, as far as storms are concerned. Maybe now’s a good opportunity to brush up on your tornado science, and to be thankful someone came up with the idea of basements.
