    I know 5 computer languages and only 2 “real world” languages. We live in (depends how you see it) sad times.

    My first language was English. My second was BASIC, which I learned when I was 7 or 8 in the early 80s. That was a fun time!

    What about Basic Assembler Language (BAL, my first love), and PL/1?

    MASM !!  Those were heady times…I translated a pacman game from BASIC to ASM and the pacman moved so fast I had to put it in loops to slow it down.  In BASIC, it crawled :-)
