From Wikipedia, Pareidolia “is a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant.” It commonly occurs as face-like patterns in inanimate objects, fifty instances of which can be seen after the break, so you can start developing empathy for cheese graters and alarm clocks and houses and things.

    The trees in 39 and 45 look Photoshopped, too. Too bad, because the others are brilliant and it spoils the aggregate awesomeness to have a few sketchy samples in the mix.

    It is funny how things can look faces when you say they are pictures of things that look like faces. I feel like some of those pictures I would see them in everyday life and not notice the similarity. Good finds to the photographers!
