Tim Minchin Challenges Pseudoscience with Animation, Poetry, and Shakespeare

At the very least, please stop saying "gild the lily" after watching this.

Here’s an animated movie for Tim Minchin’s ”Storm,” a poem in which Minchin gets very upset with a woman at a party for touting pseudoscience cliches. He then goes off on a rant I think a lot of us would like to join him on, and praises the virtues of science over nonsense.

This video is actually over two years old, but I’ve seen it being passed around a lot this morning via a Slate post that calls it “The Best Critique of Alternative Medicine Ever.

It’s certainly up there.
