This nifty little “throwing star,” as the TSA Instagram puts it (come on, TSA, I know you know that’s a batarang), was confiscated at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport this week. This, of course, begs the question: what the heck was Bruce Wayne doing passing through airport security like the rest of us moneyless peons?
If the fact that the TSA has an Instagram account is news to you, by the way, then it’s your lucky day! They use the social media account exclusively to show off confiscated terms—like this taser disguised as a tube of lipstick, for example.

Nice to know that in addition to violating our rights as American citizens and fellow human beings, our tax dollars are also going towards taking pictures of hilarious weapons that people try to bring on planes. Makes the whole “they probably have nude photos of us from those full-size body scanners” thing a lot easier to take.
