Woman Attempts to Cook Meth Inside a Walmart

This is Elizabeth Alisha Greta Halfmoon, also known as Alisha Halfmoon. Halfmoon is 45 and, like many Americans, has spent a lot of time in Walmart. In fact, on December 8th, she spent about six hours in Walmart. Except she wasn’t looking for amazing Holiday deals. Instead, Halfmoon was attempting to cook meth.

According to Fox23, Halfmoon entered the Tulsa Walmart around noon. Over the next six hours, she went from aisle to aisle, mixing the ingredients to cook meth inside of a plastic bottle. At some point, employees became suspicious and alerted the authorities. When police arrived, Halfmoon had already added lighter fluid and sulfuric acid to the mix — which I mention as a quick reminder about the horrifying nature of meth.

Halfmoon was taken into custody and her miniature methlab confiscated by police. In the process, one of the cops spilled some of the volatile mixture onto his hands, and was treated for chemical burns. Meth is really, really gross, guys.

As bizarre as this story is, it has a truly sad core: Halfmoon was attempting to cook meth in the Walmart because she didn’t have the money to buy the ingredients herself. As disreputable as her activities were, it seems a touch inappropriate to demonize her to the extent that the Fox23 newscaster did. To be honest, the tearful protests of the woman sobbing about how Walmart is a “family store” seem more out of place than the actions of a desperate addict trying to get a fix.

Hopefully Halfmoon will get the help she so clearly needs.

Well, unsuprising. More upset with the news station. I guess that’s Fox for you

I’m just impressed that apparently, you can find all the ingredients necessary for meth without leaving your local Walmart

  • Nope

Yeah, I’m pretty curious as to where she got sulfuric acid in a Wal-Mart.

  • Max Eddy

You can get it in most hardware stores. Not sure what most people used it for. I tried taking off paint with it.

Seriously, lame editors.  Take it out on a New channel as if they were biased against drug users and people illegally making drugs and stealing. Ummm aren’t we all?  I’m certainly against drug abuse and breaking the law!!! Sheesh!  Really?? We should hold Fox News more accountable for their reporting??  Editor, Max Eddie are you suggesting instead of reporting what actually happened and the people who were affected by it, instead we shouldn’t hold “her” own actions accountable? We should only pity her and assist her.  I have an idea!! (sarcasm)  Lets create a Government facility where they can go get drugs for free instead of having oppressed, contributory citizens like her being “forced” to resort to stealing.  Oh wait…. that already exists.  It’s called Welfare.  And YES, there are people who deserve welfare and there are certainly people like her, where Welfare all it does is feed her habit, not rehabilitate.  Last thought, if she was walking around in Walmart for 6 hours!!  Don’t you think she could have gotten a job there as a greeter doing the dang same thing!!!!  Just not illegally.  Sorry, no pity party here.

Additionally, the Mother was upset cause have you seen the after effect of a chemical explosion?!?  That mother has every right to be upset, the officers even found some of the chemicals spilled on the shelf that was eating the paint off!!  I would be absolutely livid if my child unknowingly got that in her eye or mouth.  I am absolutely disgusted this editor was MORE concerned for this undeserving drug addict than an innocent child or another possible victim of injury other than the police officer who did hurt his hand from chemical burn.  THAT is why the Mother was emotional you frickin’ turd editor!

I was under the impression news journalists were meant to report the facts and do it in an unbiased, proffesional manner. Everything the reporters said was spoken with discust and latent anger, which taints the information and subsiquently alters the viewers perception.

That’s not to say Halfmoon wasn’t in the wrong or that we should pity her, but thats our decision to make, not the reporters.

What is “the help she needs”? Drug addiction treatment programs have such a high failure rate that’s a false hope.

She needs to change her name to HalfWit, she is an outright disgrace to HalfMoons the world over!

I am not out to say meth is good, but this article is really bias. Sure there may be nasty ingredients involved in making meth, but the way to deal with the situation is with educated understanding.. Not ignorance.. This article makes it out as if the nature of meth is the same as lighter fluid and sulfuric acid.. Meth was first made in a lab… Yeah same kind of setup that pharmaceutical companies might use.. Ever read the side effects on medication? There is the horrify nature of drugs for you, and people shouldnt have a bias view when really pharmaceuticals are no different. Hell go pop your meds and smoke some cigs, then pretend to be better than this poor lady.. She probably is stuck in a cycle of hunger and depression.. When meth wears off the sickness that follows is really hunger for food.. That is the horrifying part..

What are the odds of a kid reaching something that high?????? What are the odds of Walmart placing chemicals that can eat the paint off the self much lower? Why do they trow recovering addicts out of rehab when their insurance runs out? What are the odds of you being able to truly love anyone with the limited compassion you have for others? The amount of Meth being cooked around that store is a testament of how many of the citizens or that area have been left behind by sociality. You are not the worst person to ever walk the face of the Earth, but neither is she!

More than likely that walmart knew they could make more money selling it, since many people make Meth around there. Walmart is heartless!

That reporter is a bitch! And as far as Walmart being a family store, I’ve seen pictures of the Walmartians!

lead acid batteries.  ATV and motorcycle batteries are shipped dry.  They come with a bottle of sulfuric acid in the box to fill them.

Or, sulphiric acid is used as a chemical in paint removal, metal polishing, and a number of things (Heck, Coke has a Ph Level of 2.6 out of 20, Sulpheric Acid is 1.0/20) Also…

Sulfuric acid is hygroscopic which readily absorbs atmospheric water vapour and hence it is usually used as a drying agent. Besides, it is used as a general dehydrating agent in its concentrated form due to its strong dehydrating property.
Concentrated sulfuric acid is frequently the major ingredient in acidic drain cleaners [14] which are used to remove grease, hair, tissue paper, etc. But they are advised to be used by licensed plumbers because of safety considerations. So way to jump on the bandwagon retard. I am sure your Liberal Flunky friends will high five you. Maybe you should demonize her so you can get son conservative friends to high five you for being just as retarded still, but on their side?

I THINK THAT WOULD BE AVALIABLE IN A HANDY DECANTER PACK, INSIDE A BOX CONTAINING A MOTORCYCLE BATTERY.

    1) realize toxic acids and solvents are used in manufacturing almost every drug/medicine..

    2) which was it, lighter fluid or starter fluid?.

    3) how much does Apple pay Fox23 to advertise their shitty tablets and phones?.
