If you do have something you need to do today, then by all means do not visit Wikipedia’s list of Unusual Articles.  We just lost about a half hour to it, simply in the process of writing this post.

If you’d like to spend some time being enlightened about things that will probably never do your life any constructive good, with brief moments of Discovery-like love for all the weird and wonderful stuff in human history, then it’s probably safe.

The list is broken into sections, which include: Places, Language, Science, Military, Death, and Questions.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
