xkcd’s Tetris Hell Now a Playable Game: Play it Here!

xkcd, in all its wisdom, recently depicted Hell as a game of Tetris in a bullet-shaped playing frame, such that you can never quiiiite create a row.

Now, a fan has made it into a playable game, which adds extra bouncy physics to the hellishness that is Tetris with impossible rows.  We’ve pulled the game from [the imgur of .swf filesswfme for your playing pleasure, after the jump:

Alas, we couldn’t find any info on the creator of the game; if you know or are the person who whipped this together, we’d love to hear from you.

I don’t know who did that one, but http://kongregate.com/games/kaolin/hell was (I think) the first implementation.

Don’t think it was, you know. At the bottome of the Kongregate one, it says ‘ thanks to xkcd for the evil. Also, in the ‘how to’, it says “Inspired by the genius of (blatantly ripped off) XKCD. What is hell for a gamer?”

STARTING my next game of Tetris on level 10, after HELL it will be easy peasy! many thanks for this perspective!!!

Would have been more fun if it actually worked. I succeeded in making complete rows but nothing happend. Other that that it was a really funny idea.
