Luckily, TED-ED scholar and geography wonk David Hunter has some handy tips on using geographic concepts — like movement of people or resources and identifying push and pull factors that could make a location more or less desirable — to plan your getaway.
Look, the mall is a classic place to hide out in the event of a zombie attack, but let’s face it — everyone is going to show up there, which means that the place is likely going to turn into an abattoir before the walking dead even arrive. Just a little reasoning — using simple geographic cues — can help you land a much cozier perch from which to watch the world end. And really, isn’t that all any of us are looking for?
