Former Zynga Employee Says Company is Evil

A former employee of Zynga, creator of the extremely popular Facebook game FarmVille, has spoken out against the company, claiming the company’s motto is “Do evil,” a parody of Google’s “Don’t be evil” motto.

The former employee made various claims to the level of Zynga’s evil ways, saying “I would venture to say it is one of the most evil places I’ve run into, from a culture perspective and in its business approach. I’ve tried my best to make sure that friends don’t let friends work at Zynga.”

The main head of the evil hydra, the former employee claims, is none other than the founder and CEO himself, Mark Pincus, who apparently told his team, “I don’t f**king want innovation. You’re not smarter than your competitor. Just copy what they do and do it until you get their numbers.”

Just to shed some perspective light on the extent of Zynga’s reach: World of Warcraft, one of the most popular online games to date, has over ten million paying subscribers, whereas FarmVille once had 84 million active users in one month.
